Faith is not what you post, it's what you practice

Faith is not an affirmation. It is a practice that will make you deeply uncomfortable. I have seen more executive careers stall because of a crisis of belief than a crisis of skill. The skill is usually there. The conviction that it is going to work is not. Most leadership content talks about faith like it is something you adopt and move on from. A mindset shift. A reframe. A morning routine. That is not what faith is. Faith is the decision to keep building when the data does not yet support what you know is true. It costs something every day you practice it. Some days it costs your reputation. Some days it costs the approval of people you respect. Some days it costs the comfortable answer. I did not grow up with a father in the house. I grew up in a neighborhood where not making it was the statistical expectation. The only thing that moved the needle was a belief that the expectation was wrong. Faith is not what you post.
